Through our tests we have proven that this solution is capturing 90 - 95% of Spam messages coming into our mailboxes. So how does it work? As each of the emails to your account reaches our server, it is passed through our anti-spam filtering solution. The filter analyses your email and gives it a rating as to how likely it is to be Spam. Castle Web Solutions adds (CWS Spam Score ********) at the end of the subject of the email. The more asterisks there are, the more likely the message is to be Spam. Castle Web Solutions will provide a simple to follow instruction for Outlook or Outlook Express to allow you to configure these tools. This will automatically move the Spam identified to another folder. The messages can be reviewed in this folder to ensure no message has been highlighted that isn't Spam. The asterisks allow each individual to decide the filter rules, for example, it may be decided to retain emails of 3 asterisks and below and move all others to the Spam folder.
